Knew it was a scam so said i would renew but just needed to get my card. Kept him waiting 5 minutes then read out totally made up card. He said there must be some digits wrong. Had a few of these calls recently from different numbers. They will ask a random question like "We hear you have been having problems in your house, is that true?" or "Hello you have won blah blah blah" and then immediately hang up. I think this is a possible scam, I think they want you to call them back. - Block the number and forget about them.

Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 1618148xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with Legal Advice Centre, RTA - traffic accident, PPI, insurance claims. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). People did they call you with the same or something new?
