The person who spoke had a thick accent so I initially thought it might be from an overseas call centre. The person who spoke said they were from British Telecom, so I told them where to go and hung up.

Since last July I have been getting calls from this number (plus variations of the number)clearly the same company. I ignore most but sometimes answer. Twice I told them to take me off their systems (after pressing 5 to get through to someone), including that I don t mean make a note on the computer not to call but that I meant remove me completely. I was told they would do that. Now when I answer to tell them not to call they 1) hang up and 2) keep calling regular. They are breaking the law by ringing when
