Spam caller selling accident claims

Asian person said he was from the Telephone Preference Service. Had my surname and flat no/postcode. Said they can stop scammers calling - know that the TPS cannot do this with numbers that may look like UK nos but are routed from Asia. He started to ask whether I still paid by Direct Debit (TPS is free!!!) so told him I didn t want to speak to him and hung up.

my grandfather was fooled by their sales pitch. they ve taken advantage of him! and they just wanted the money!

I have the TruCaller App (Free version) it notifies you of scams, etc before you answer. I will be using this on my new phone, it s a great little App and instantly told me this was a PPI scam. I recommend this App to anyone, and I blocked this number straight away. All numbers TruCaller checks against a huge database of Blaclisted phone numbers.

Just had the second call today and about the 4th this week. Every time I answer there is a pause and then they ring off. Very odd and hugely annoying

Had them call me regardsin PPI claims a few months ago, when paperwork arrived they had not listened to me and all info was wrong so threw it all in the bin, called them up and told them not to contact me again. A South African has just called my mobile - WHERE DID THEY GET MY NUMBER FROM? He tried to follow things up but I simply told him that I was not interested, he waffled on so I put the phone down!

They rang me regarding a survey I had completed, as I fill in loads of surveys I believed this to be true. They said I had won a £20 fuel voucher and gave a lot of information regarding how I can spend it etc. However they then went onto talk about how I could be part of their membership, which costs £79! Same as the others - an email from HM Courts and Tribunals for a supposed traffic infringement, quoting this number. The actual email address was [email protected]...

This number calls from Manchester (but its seems they just hire Canadians,every call I have had from this company have been from someone with a Canadians accent in MANCHESTER. VERY SUSPICIOUS
