Called pretending to be from BT broadband about an awful virus on my computer about to bring the whole BT network to a grinding halt. Wanted me to give him remote access to computer and hub. BT don t want to know, only thing to do really is to block the number to save any kids or elderly relatives being duped.

This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as a scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 8437241xx range... Did someone answer any number of this range?
