This crap company has called about 4 times in past couple of weeks. Each time I requested that they remove my number from their database as I think they re dispicable, low life, preying on the vulnerable. A friend who had a car accident was totally taken in by a similar company, as they called the day after her accident, so she thought they were from her insurance company. Have had more than a few calls from this number b4 - supposed "road accident/incident" 2 n half years ago - forget it - never happened!!! These "companies" need to do their research and/or cease harassing people whose numbers they have "bought"

Currently in the US and just had a call from this number. I didn t answer but found this page so I ll endorse peoples comments about being contacted whilst abroad. I ve recently added my mobile number with the Telephone Preference Service but it can take a month before that kicks in.

Received an urgent sounding recorded message, claiming to be British Gas and asking us to call 01216290765. Spoke to BG, and they have confirmed that THIS IS A SCAM, as they would never contact customers in such a manner.

Similar to other comments - caller said he was from Microsoft and said my computer had been sending them warning messages. Wanted me to log on so he could fix it ! He was a bit confused when I said I only had Apple computers and not Microsoft and then hung up when I told him that I would refer this to Action Fraud!
