I am receiving these calls today evening 5 minutes. This is insane. On of them even told me to "cut the crap" as I asked to send email instead of making these calls.. Horrible
SCAM Scam Call. Fake western name. Knew my name. Told me I was being investigated for an investment which was apparently a scam. Asked me: Did you make any investments recently. POTENTIAL SCAM Caller (with an Indian accent and in a noisy call centre) claimed to be from Amazon Security Department. She was checking whether I'd placed an order for £749... I said I hadn't. She asked if I wanted to cancel the order. I said it's not my order so I can't cancel it. She said my phone number and email and payment details had been used to create a fake account. Called to say from MBNA and that there was a problem with the account. Indian (asian) voice. Wife was very rude to him. The number that came up was the same as the MBNA help line number with extra 2 added at the end. Called MBNA - very helpful - no they had not contacted us. MBNA say they always text before ringing and only speak to main account holder.

SCAM - A robot voice told me that £600 would be sent overseas from my card unless I pressed the '1' key to speak to someone. Didn't say which card, or which bank. I terminated the call, then tried calling the number. An answering machine announced that the number wasn't accepting calls. Obvious scam. I've blocked the number.

SCAM call from someone suggesting he was from BT and seeking access to our broadband to correct a fault as they had been receiving lots of alerts and that our IP address was being used in the public domain. On calling back, i got an automated message saying that this number had not been recognised.

Called a couple of times, hung up before I answered, the number seems to come from the Russian Federation, I know I have family in a few countries around the world but definitely NONE in Russia, beware it could be a scam.
