Have been given this number to call to pay my “debt” from a very dodgy company called C&h debt recovery. Associated with fake advertising scammers NCPA and KFL. Don’t pay them a penny!

I keep my phone on answer machine because of cold calls. The caller claimed to be from HMRC and said there was a law suit against me and to press 1 to contact my case officer. I suspected a scam and erased it.

I did not answer when I saw this call, couldn t find anything online and no voicemail recorded (if it s important enough someone will leave a message). I rang back on my work line and it comes up as not found . So using an educated guess, I would put this down as PPI, car accident and the various other nuisance calls.

Claiming that you are entitled to a £1500 refund per person on an all inclusive holiday from ABTA due to levels of cleanliness being below the standard required. They didn't know who I booked through or where I went. Clear case of a scam. No-one who can't verify these poor conditions would be entitled to a refund, let alone one that was for more than the cost of the holiday.

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. Do not call them back whoever it is - you will pay for it. Tell me why companies still use payed lines for telemarketing (some other reason than scam?)... Did someone answer any number of this range or this one? Maybe this is some good number, but left no message, no way I would call back...
