SCAM. I received a recorded phone msg from 02089876951 It was a woman who spoke very fast saying my visa card had been used for two large amounts of money this morning. I tried to find the above number, which wasn't found. If it had been my bank or building society, I would have been able to who called me. I think it's a 100% scam.
I notice there is a catch to thief plan after making me deposit almost all I have but am glad to reach Hoskey April, a revert expert with his assistance. I was able to recover my loss of 13,800. SCAM most definitely a scam - recorded announcement saying your Visa card has been compromised with a transaction of £300 at Amazon, etc. Instructed to press 1 to report it - DON'T! Just put the phone down.
They addressed me by name and claimed that I requested a call back regarding financial services/trading. I'm a bit worried that they had my name and it seems that this was the only purpose of the call, to confirm the name pertaining to the mobile No. They hang up immediately.
