Just had a call from unknown number. Went through the whole debt speech. As I work for a debt firm I wanted to know how they got my details. When I asked who they were she said the money team. I asked for more information and she just said floyd mayweather and hung up.

A foreign gentleman called from this number 01223 691019, claiming to be from Virgin Media. He wanted access to my modem via my smartphone or computer to make updates. When I said that I had neither he started to get a little agitated. Also kept hinting towards a bad phone connection. This was a call to my landline. I don't know if this is a scam or not, but is very likely as Virgin probably wouldn't access your home internet via a 3rd party mobile phone company.

This is a scam from the HRMC I suspect. Called saying that tax fraud has been raised under my name and to press 1. Very bad line, sounded like they were located in India. Became irate and unprofessional when I refused to give name.

I have caller ID. The number 00349441210763 was shown which immediately changed to 01213140763, so I suspect the number was spoofed. The first number was probably spoofed also, as I have international calls barred. The caller had a thick foreign accent and I did not understand everything that was said. Called and left no message. The location of this number is identical to a series of similar numbers so it looks like a call centre using new numbers when the earlier number has been blocked.
Keeps calling but hangs up when answered. About 4 missed calls and 2 hangups today. After the first missed call I tried to call back but it said „number not recognised“

Foreign call centre refuse to remove me from their database and laughed at my request. Told me I must answer all their questions first and called me back 20x in 10 mins as I kept on ganging up. Total fruit cakes!

Claiming to be from O2 offering a mobile upgrade but when I said I'm not with O2 he said he could still offer me an upgrade. Likely some kind of con.

marbles credit card company, they kept calling my business...turns out an ex employee had listed our number as their contact. I asked them to remove it and they were very helpful
This number is connected to a computer security con – ignore and block. The Company names they give are Web Security Global, Microsoft 24 Security Support and Web Expert Security – ALL ARE non-existent. These callers are persistent, aggressive and thoroughly unpleasant. Received many calls from same number but just the last digit changes. It is an automated message saying that they are HMRC and that a tax fraud claim is made against me, that I should press 1 and talk to a representative otherwise I will be arrested shortly. It is so annoying as to how they get my number, i have had so many unsolicitored calls recently. Who is selling my information, I am so carefull in completing any online applications with my sensitive details?
