The blighters rang me again with their wretched recorded message telling me it was not too late to claim. I was under pressure, about to send an urgent email. I want to see these people prosecuted. If I thought I was entitled to a p.p.i. refund I would claim it myself, not pay some parasitic firm to do it for me and get half the money. These people are dangerous. They catch out innocent people.

The companies don’t "get" your number, they just block-dial numbers until they get a ring tone so TPS and ex-directory numbers do not offer any protection.

PPI company. I asked them to stop calling me. The caller proceeded to argue with me as she said that she has never called me before. I have reported to information commissioner.
Wife received a call from this number purporting to be Amazon support, advising that they had identified a problem on her account (in this case an order for an iPhone @ £499 which was being sent to an unusual address). Before I got involved they had asked her to install TeamViewer on her phone to "help her connect to the Amazon security system". Immediately got her to uninstall, and then I asked the "security person" (who had a non-British... somewhere South of the Hima

Really shady caller office. Offering a job just to get personal details. Deal with caution. If asked to send and ID . blurr out the personal info (not more than they already have) . A quick track back showed multiple old computer network in the same building with VOIP setup in INDIA. A relay point in UK was found aswell (possibly a rented server) . I did enroll a local police force on the adress.

Definitely weird! I have missed calls all the time from this number and another they call constantly. Left one strange answer phone message. Looking at others comments seems to be people praying on customers of car phone warehouse who are due an upgrade. Which I am but haven t yet. Just ignore/block and go to the store to be sure n safe.

Get a very casual message using whatever name you are using on gumtree telling you youre paypal account has been hacked and to log in to change your pass.Like any sort of financial service would be running their security through a mobile.What made it more amusing for me is if they bothered seeing the third line of the ads they got my number from theyd see in large letters NO PAYPAL
