This is a scam where they pretend to be BT and will give you te above number to call with an id code to verify their authenticity. They tell you they want to shut down your Broadband for 5 days due to errors - blah blah. Probably after they will try to get access to your pc in some way. Don t know cos I crashed out and phoned BT who said it was a scam.

Same for me,Asian sounding guy called me regarding an accident which I had last December,as it has already been concluded realised it was a scam so hung up

They re not UK numbers, so UK authorities have no jurisdiction over where or who they are.
