called mid morning. When answered was greeted with silence then a hang up.

First they called tried to confirm that the were speaking to the person they were calling for. Annoyingly they would read back my address. Then they would ask if they could do a short survey. another time they have an Indian accent and sometimes they have an English accent. Sometimes Indian man. The English accent one wanted to know if there was central heating in the house. she went straight into the question despite me telling her she had the wrong name and number. I m generally pretty careful giving out my details but for some reason this time wasn t. The company called me I was given a name John Quinn and they seemed to have alot of my details already and were very pleasant. But looking back they were desperate to get my details and evasive of giving an actual amount. They promised me an email the same day and a call at 15.30. Neither of which I got. I spoke to the bank, they weren t very helpful either. Eventually I cancelled my card an froze my account. Not ideal

Keep getting 0843 numbers calling with robot messages. After some research I have gone on TPSonline.org where you can opt out of getting marketing calls, legally they cannot call you anymore. Why is this not more widely known I ask myself?
