I’ve just received a call from an automated voice (08979 041 013) telling me that my IP address has been compromised from several countries and will be disconnected in the next 24 hours. Asking me to press ‘1’ to confirm blah blah blah – obviously I did not do this and I assume this is a scam of some sort – thought I best let you know!
Hung up when I answered. I don't know anyone in Manchester....

I had a call from a very polite man called John , he represented Honest Johns Roofing and Tiling. The lead off the roof of our church had been stolen, and had water pouring in constantly . He offered to re roof our church for ?13000, which i thought was reasonable , as we had ,had quotes in excess of ?40,000. Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. Be aware people this could be just a money trap, who uses numbers with shared rate...? In most cases they just ring once to make you call them back. Did someone answer this number, some more info?

I had a call from this number today, i answered the phone but no one spoke and they hung up. I tried to ring the number but all i get is Access denied. I have call saint installed so this number will go onto my block list. A wonderful bit of tech is call saint will block your unwanted numbers, i must have block at least 30 number by now. I do not get may unwanted calls any more, just the odd one now and then. But then i just block them as well.
