Claimed to be from some charity representing Noah’s Ark charity. Started going through the script about Covid, strange times, struggling for funds etc. Before he got the point where he asked me for a donation, I told him that If I wanted to donate to a charity of my choice, I would do it myself. I would not be doing it over the phone to a complete stranger claiming to from a charity. Probably a scam.

The directors of the company making the calls are: Paul Lord (home address: 46a Nowell Road, Middleton, Manchester, M24 6FL) and Richard Cooper (home address: 6 Reed Close, Farnworth, Bolton, BL4 7EF). Have fun writing to them to tell how much you appreciate their calls.
calls on my number recently given to me by Sky, keep on asking for a Mr Conno/Commo or something like that! He was obviously in debt as I get many many callers for him from these sorts of numbers. Says they are calling fom BT about a problem with internet speed and need to log onto my laptop to fix it. I kept them on the phone for about 30 mins playing along until I got bored and told them they would need to book an appointment if they wanted to try scam me.

SCAM purported to be from Royal Mail saying charge due for parcel delivery with a link to website. I doubt Royal Mail would use text messages like this, and how would they have your mobile number anyway? Don’t follow link even if you are expecting a parcel.
