This seems to be a company called Barrhead Travel in Renfrewshire as checked on Company Check. There is no information person or financial information submitted to companies house. It is not a Limited Company.

I was asked to call the number for a validity check. Number rings and then when answered goes quiet. My number is withheld, so that s why they will not talk. These are Agents, probably working for Energy Consultants. The prices they get for you will include a significant commission. They will lie and harass you into agreeing contracts. Hi company called Scott&Co They are callling regards to council tax if you are not paying it on time. I forgot to pay a council tax for 2 months and they have sent me a letter that i need to py the full amount in total i had to pay ?712 So i phoned them and they spread the cost for a weekly instalments. they just calling to collect the weekly payment. its not a Spam or Sales call. If they are calling you better call them back ASAP . :)

Female caller asks whether I ve been in an accident (FYI - this is not a real person, just a very cleverly recorded message that is only triggered by the words Hello and Yes ) put through to a bloke asking whether I d been in an car accident...pretended to not hear him very well and wound him up a bit before he put the phone down on me!

Asked if I was the bill payer and I said yes. Then he stated a different address to me and I said no that's not this address then he put the phone down? Strange!

Rang off as soon as they went to answer machine

This is the negative balance team from Paypal (See https://www.paypal-community.com/t5/Subscriptions/Paying-an-outstanding-recurring-payment/td-p/1000315 as an example). This team will call Paypal customers if a payment on their account has been paid by paypal but not by the funding source, creating a negative balance. The account holder has 45 days to deal with the issue, before Paypal go to the funding source to ask for the money on a "Chargeback" basis. Legitimate caller if you have a paypal account

An automated message - has called me numerous times over the past week. I ve tried pressing 9 to opt out. Makes no difference at all, so this time spoke to someone by pressing 5 . Apparently they will remove my number -takes up to 48 hours. Definately the most persist nuisance call I ve ever had.
