Called me but when I answered immediately had an answering machine that said a letter for me had been returned to them so they would be taking legal action, like an answering machine would go into that much depth. Then I waited for the message to repeat to hear who it claimed to be and instead it hung up. Clearly a scam.

spam call pretenting to be a IT recruiter looking for contracting job. Does not leave you by if you let the person know that you are not interested or you dont know about the information they ask. Too invasive and prying to know more contacts in your firm. Stay away.

Just received a call from this number asking for my father , bucase the number they called is a works mobile I explanied that he wasnt available , the operator ( asian male ) then asked me does he give you his phone look after , I replied yes to which he called me a fucker and then hung up , he claimed to be from citizens advice originally !
Some one called on my partner's mobile phone - a number that she shares very rarely if not at all. This number is not secure, it is scammers pretending to be from O2, offering a 50% discount off your monthly bill. Tempting, obviously. They say a text will be sent to confirm this, followed by another text with a code to activate the offer. They will then ask you to repeat the code to them BUT doing this will allow them to take control over your account and possibly other info on your phone. Something didn't feel right so when they rang back for the code I didn't answer but googled O2 scams. Beware.

I missed a no caller ID call from Dundee city council, the person gave me this number to call back on. I'm immediately greeted by an American automated voice giving me options to which I decide to hold for assistance cuz none of them mean anything to me. I don't type or do anything but an English automated voice comes on says "sorry I didn't get that", this repeats indefinitely.. pretty sus for a number that's meant to be the counsel. Banking Scam. An automated message telling you that 2 transactions have been taken from your account, 1x £300 & 1x £1000. Then asks you to press 2 on your phone pad to be connected to an advisor. I phoned this number back but it said that someone is on the phone and asked you to leave a message. This is a SCAM phone number.

I do not know anyone in Edinburgh nor am I dealing with any company/organisation in Edinburgh! The caller did not leave a message which leaves me to think it was either. Scam or someone selling something. Either way, it was an unwanted phone call.

Call was a recorded message saying that I had 2 transactions off £750 off my Credit card this morning if this was not you press 1. I didn't do it but I did check with my accounts and it appears to be a scam. As they didnt say which Credit company either. Plus surely they wouldn't use a mobile phone either. They would use land line to ring from. Plus an email or text.

My elderly father had a call this evening at 7pm from this number advising him that £95 was due for his prescription charges. He does not pay for his medications. I will telephone the company who owns the number tomorrow to make them aware that someone is using their number for illegal purposes.

Call received from this number today, 27 February 2023 @ 10:16. I did not answer, but they left a message, which I felt was an attempt to trick me into responding in order to avoid paying unlawful requests for several hundred pounds. I believe this to be a scam call from someone pretending to be from Amazon.
