Call from this number alleging to be a court enforcement officer regarding an unpaid advertisement debt. Definitely fraud and reported to Action Fraud and police. Tried to get over £2000 from me. Very personable bloke allegedly called Alan Wise. If you get anyone from this number, it is fraud. Don't pay and report.

This number is a scammer or hacker, I answered the call but got nothing but silence. apparently from Russia.
Claim to be Virgin but when asked to prove this they rang off.
SPAM this and 11 other land line numbers from this area have called my mobile over the last 2 months. Many have called multiple times, I've lost count. Fed up with them. Previous callers have been from so called Double glazing, green energy and investment companies. The last few were from FX MORGAN CAPITAL who also call from a plethora of mobile numbers- too many to list. The FCA and my bank, after an investigation with fraud squad, have said its a scam company. Called me up (I was selling a motorbike on aurtotrader), said he was keen on the bike (only having seen the ad). Then asked for my bank details to pay me a deposit. At the time I thought that was ok, but on reflection why would he give a deposit on a bike he hadn't seen? Also wanted to do it in a hurry, so something not quite right. Not saying a scam, could be innocent but felt a bit weird.

Called claiming to be from PDM in relation to easyspace. about a domain that is up for sale and as a loyal customer of theirs we are given first refusal. used company directors as names which are easily accessible. I said i would pass on to manager and call back. as a small company, I know who our domain providers are. when looked up the domain they mentioned, it is registered until 2023. believe this could be a scam looking to register fake domains.

I'm more and more convinced it is a scam. I was called this morning, by an automated voice, that there is a proceeding against me because I didn't pay my taxes, and if I want to avoid further consequences (including jail!), I should press 1. Pulled over, pressed 1, a female voice greeted me and asked for personal data. I didn't give any, and asked if there is a number I can call them back on. She said she would call me back later instead. Once home, checekd with HMRC, no issues with my status or taxes.

Indian 'lady' called saying they were Right Energy part of uk-talk offering wholesale energy rates. Asked where she was located, she said Birmingham. After stringing her along for 10 minutes I asked what was happening with the Bull Ring, she clearly did not know what I was talking about especially when I asked if that's where she gets the bullsh*t from. Then said she was in Kolkata (aka Calcutta) not Birmingham. Said that I was in London helping police with scam callers - phone went dead!
