Scam beware caller said there based in manillla on behalf of Halifax then got another call day before said they where based in philphenes SCAM DONT GIVE NO PERSONAL DETAILS BEWA...

0161 354 4344 Saying they were Home essentials. Had 2 calls a few weeks ago, they wanted me to confirm personal data, I refused & asked them not to phone again. More calls today started 8am, really argumentative when I advised they were asked not to call me again. Really rude & very pushy. Hung up.

Fraudsmen, pretending to be BT, tried to persuade me to give them online access to my PC.

I received a call from this number a while ago. When I picked it up I heard "thanks for your patience you will be transferred to an agent now" and the call was terminated. I called them back and a woman answered hello this is consumer helpline, how can I help . She then started saying something about loans. I am applying to jobsites and apparently there is a connection between a jobsite and this call, as I ve read in other comments as well.

I received a text from this number suggesting that I could get a "Covid pass" from the NHS to say that I have had two vaccinations, giving the URL of a website to log on to. I don't trust it as the government has not yet decided to issue Covid passports
