Claimed to be from BT, asked if someone 'was online before midnight or from midnight to 3am. Then said the IP address was being used by malicious software and offered 'next steps' to follow. I hung up. Scam.

Phone rang my mobile number yesterday morning then , my home phone number at night, very strange , did not return call as phone only gave three rings then off, same with home number about 730pm three rings then off
"David", in his very difficult-to-understand accent, said he was calling from '3' about upgrading my phone. Do I have an iPhone or a Samsung? I don't even have a contract with 3, so this has got to be some sort of scam. I rang off.

Well spoken Indian man asked for me by name, gave me my address & postcode, said he was from Domestic General and had checked my paperwork and as I had not claimed I can have a discount. Knew what products covered and type of policy, and paid on direct debit. Said paperwork will be here in a week. SCAM - A robot voice told me that £600 would be sent overseas from my card unless I pressed the '1' key to speak to someone. Didn't say which card, or which bank. I terminated the call, then tried calling the number. An answering machine announced that the number wasn't accepting calls. Obvious scam. I've blocked the number.

Claimed to be from Currys PC World , sounds more to me like a foreign call centre. This was an unsolicited call, believe it is a scam call - to be avoided at all costs
I've got the call. When I picked up, some guy was laughing. Later a guy mentioned he was from my O2 provider company. I am not currently under contract with the O2. Then he laughed and hung up. I wasn't sure if this call was from a house with joking kids or if this was a real company. If that is a company, they have to have more attention to training their people to behave.
