I have the TruCaller App (Free version) it notifies you of scams, etc before you answer. I will be using this on my new phone, it s a great little App and instantly told me this was a PPI scam. I recommend this App to anyone, and I blocked this number straight away. All numbers TruCaller checks against a huge database of Blaclisted phone numbers.

Man with a strong Asian accent called one evening claiming to be from "Lloyds Bank" asking to talk to the "account holder" and confirm security details. He was just fishing for personal details, he was completely unaware who I was and that I was not a customer of Lloyds TSB. 12 calls in the last 24 hours from this number. Answered first call and was told they were to do with PPI, I immediately asked to be removed from calling list caller then became rude and abusive. No further calls answered, this seems to not deter them at all, and is bordering on criminal harassment.

This company was originally using a landline number. They are now calling people from a bogus mobile number which shows up as 07463 804966. They are not legitimate and seeking additional info about you. When you call the mobile number back a recording says that the number is not recognised. Hang up or block them, but do not confirm your name or address as they ask you to do.

Swindon Window Centre called my number this morning and they have held my number on a recall system, so that each time I try to ring out, it automatically rings them and charges for each call. Can t delete this, so have to get on to BT.

Pushy mobile phone sales call and would not go away even after I made it clear that I wasn t interested in up-grading or changing contracts. In the end I had to just hang up. These calls are always a worry as they may phone my mum or elderly neighbours.

Its a trustworthy number as its AO.COM. I bought an appliance recently and they were confirming everything. Unfortunately, the guy was persistent on setting up a domestic and general insurance for £7 a month. Annoying as the appliance comes with 2 years warranty. If I wanted D&G warranty i d go to D&G and get it. Please do not cold call customers pushing for the sale of this its unwanted.
