UK area code 01781 is not currently in use, so the number is fake.

They had the cheek to call me again - when I was busy of course - with their wretched recorded message saying it was not too late. I think they can be prosecuted for this harassment and dishonesty, pretending people have claims when they know nothing about whether they have or not, and be heavily fined. If they are, perhaps others will not follow their example. I do not worry for myself, but people who fall for their smooth talking. Received an urgent sounding recorded message, claiming to be British Gas and asking us to call 01216290765. Spoke to BG, and they have confirmed that THIS IS A SCAM, as they would never contact customers in such a manner.

Got 5 miss calls and answered 6th on landline my wife spoke to them after she said no thank you, it was about PPI, they wanted to speak to me and they are stupid morons that doesn’t listen to not interested. Blocked that’s about 10 numbers blocked in 3 days.

called me 3 times within 1 minute, first time i ignored, second time i picked up and waiting for the caller to talk and she spoke really aggressively so i hung up, she then called a third time and accused me of talking to her boyfriend when i clearly have no idea or connection to this number! totally out of order
