Man claimed to be from Microsoft and knew my name. Asked if I had a computer. As I did not answer and just kept asking him how he got our number (we are registered with TPS) he said it was from publicly available sources! He then said as I was not cooperating he would cut me off straight away. Extremely concerning due to his bullying attitude and tendency to answer back rather than ending the call as most of them do.

100% a scam. There are a few numbers now calling so many people with the HMRC threat! Please bear in mind that if the HMRC has an issue with you they will write on genuine headed paper.
