The point of the scam is to find gullible people who will believe what they say. They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and /or credit card/bank details "So we can proceed with our refund to you" They then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. Obviously you were the ones they were looking for for them to steal your hard earned money from. Male Asian voice claimed to be from Talk Talk phoning customers about the internet connection being currently unsafe!! I put the phone down after saying that I was not interested.

I ve been getting calls from this number on and off for a year and two things happen I answer and total silence or they attempt to make me buy a higher priced data pack and when I state that I don t need a higher priced data pack and even if I did I would just change it directly with their app they start getting more aggressive about it. My sister also just got a call from them and I just told her to hang up if they start poking for personal details which they did, me and my sister have blocked this number
