Anyone reporting this number as dangerous is a Swansea University staff member forwarding their office phone calls to their personal mobile phone, as the calls will appear as if they were from the university when the staff member receives the call. This is a Swansea University switchboard number.

SCAM Indian sounding lady, rang twice this week saying they were from BT openreach that there had been a security breach on my internet line trying to hack my broadband, she couldnt tell me any details, so assuming this was a scam I said its fine theres nothing on my laptop for hackers to get, she then wanted my mobile phone details to show me what was happening, I then told her I didn't bring my phone to work and she got angry and said fine if you dont want to protect your line then hung up !!

Automated call Recieved a call from this number threatening it was a Fraud investigation giving me a reference number then directing me to press one to get through to an agent. If I hung up and ignored the call I may end up with a fine or court proceedings.no reference as to what the call was related to? Very strange and no reason why I would even recieve such a call. Had a call asking for bank details to continue my Amazon Prime membership during a trial. The call said it would take £80 (ish) in a couple of days unless bank details given. Went on to Amazon to find the trial finishes in 20 days... Be safe people!

It’s a support call for people who have been victims of crime.
FRAUD - Automated call stating that your national insurance number has been stolen or compromised etc and to press 1 to be connected to a caller. Dont be mistaken because it is an 0800 number, it is not legitimate, just fraudsters trying to obtain your personal information.
