An automated voicemail left saying '-of the law suit and legal allegation, for more information press 1, thank you, press 1 now'. The start of the sentence was clearly cut off, so assuming some sort of scam.

SCAM claimed to be calling about insulation I'd had installed (not the case), when I asked for whom he was calling he changed his name from Alex to Sam, and when I asked again to whom he'd like to speak, he hung up on me.

SHE (NOT ENGLISH) SAID SHE WAS NOT ALLOWED TO GIVE ME THAT I SHOULD GIVE HER MY DETAILS NOW OR SHE WOULD SEND THE POLICE IMMEDIATELY. I TOLD HER i WOULD PUT THE KETTLE ON FOR WHEN THEY ARRIVED! HAD 3 BREWS SINCE THEN! NOT SURE IF JUST ANNOYING OR COULD BE DANGEROUS DIDN'T ALLOW THE CALL TO GET THAT FAR!

My elderly aunt keeps getting calls from this number but no-one is there when she answers. It is causing her distress.
This company is very aggressive and uses several tactics purporting to be an energy supplier or meter registration dept. They are energy consultants without qualms and trying to scare end users into agreeing a contract over the phone by saying that they are on extortionate out of contract rates, etc. Best way to deal with these people is to say you have signed a long-term contract and therefore not interested in their services. I missed 8 calls from this number in the space of 10 mins! When I spotted the missed calls I called back(no voicemail messages had been recorded) I had assumed it was very urgent owing to the persistence of the caller - the number is not recognised. Updated: just picked up a call - it seems I d had an accident, couldn t help but play along .... after a while I added that I was a police officer (which I m not!) and the line went dead - how odd.
