AMAZON A lady with an Indian accent said she was from amazon and was calling about my prime account being charged and did I want my money back. I told her I didn't have a prime account. This call was made from an extremely noisy office, where the background noise was so loud that I had real trouble hearing the person on the line. They offered to call back - and did so, but about an hour later. They said they were calling from my phone company about an upgrade, but when I asked them to confirm which phone company, the caller got very annoyed (raised voice) and defensive - and most importantly, couldn't tell me which phone provider asked them to call.

Had a Messenger response from someone who called himself Gary then Gaz in response to Facebook Market Place advert. Further message asked me to message him on 07984645686 as his iPad was playing up. I replied that I did not have my phone and could only use Messenger. He sent 3 further messages without any problem finally saying that he would call and collect the item next Tuesday and pay cash, and what is my address. I ended the conversation there.

Scam number. Tried to video call me on WhatsApp and then messaging me trying to say I was a man called Paul.
I got a call this morning from a guy with an Asian accent saying he's from John lewis. He started saying he was going to ask me a security question and I told him I'll call John lewis myself. He quickly dropped the call.
Courier got a text message claiming to be from Evri (Hermes) claiming that my package is being sent back and asking me to click on this link. http://rebooking.info-75.com/ Definitely a scam as I actually work as a transport manager and use Evri all the time so I know.
