it came up as a scam
Messaged to inform me of a delivery I missed from EVRI. With a link to re-book a delivery time. I went to the official website to track my delivery, and the number on the message that the suspected scammer gave is not recognised. Also I checked my CCTV and no-one had tried to deliver anything.

Automated call saying two unusual payments form my account (did not say which account!!). Told to press 1 to approve payments or 2 to speak to someone. I hung up and blocked the number.
Claimed to be from AMAZON PRIME stating that my credit card had been debited with the sum of £95 for my Prime subscription…n!!! If I have a problem with this PRESS 1 .. Needless to say I pressed nothing !! I know for a fact mine doesn’t expire until the 2nd September, 2023. They are trying to get you to panic .. Ignore and press nothing !!!!!

If I don't know the number I don't answer, if they are human and want me they will leave a message, if not it's a machine checking to see if I'll answer so they know they have a valid number. This appeared to be from a Bank, it didnt say which alleging that there had been two suspicious transactions on my card and asking me to press a number on my phone to accept these transactions. The message was recorded.

SCAM This call is related to energy and initially sounds like a live person but if you don't respond it becomes clear it is pre recorded. Be very careful about responding with "Yes" or "No" answers as your voice response can sometimes be used for other potentially fraudulent purposes
