I have been called three times today from this number - the caller claims to be calling from Amazon and asking me to respond by tapping numbers. I have not taken any action as I believe this to be a scam.

I called NatWest on their official telephone banking number who confirmed that this is an automated fraud prevention text alert. It was used to verify a suspicious transaction on my account with a simple Yes or No reply to the text. They state they will never ask for personal details on a text. Genuine number.

SCAM Claimed to be calling from the "National Debt Advice Service" which doesn't appear to exist. Said they got my number from the Debt Resolution Forum which they described as a "government body". Clearly a scam - AVOID.

Received text from this number asking me to pay a £2.70 Royal Mail shipping fee by Sat 27th Feb 2021 or parcel will be returned to sender. Went to Royal Mail website - does not recognise the ref number they added to a link in the text. Think it is a scam.
SUPER RUDE human being - and I use the term loosely. Has been rude, aggressive, and generally made a twit of himself to most of my colleagues. Apparently he is calling back tomorrow "before time runs out" on whatever it is he won t tell me about. this Indian woman rang me and for over three minutes told me that she was ringing to prevent any nuisance calls to my number in the future. I told her she was being a nuisance.... and she kept telling me that she was from the anti nuisance call line of the UK... that was the extent of the conversation. I do not know who they are. All I know is that it is from the centre of Chichester. They do not even leave a text so that I would at least know who is attempting to get hold of me!!! It may be quite innocent, but until I know who is calling as unknown, it is a nuisance. Why should we have to put up with this rubbish, the caller would not like it if this happened to them. I will not call them back incase it is a scam.

They lied about being with O2, registered on O2's site as me and tried to get me to give them the confirmation code!!! Do not trust, if they are willing to be dishonest ...
Checked number elsewhere as no comments here. Some say British gas (number on their website) re smart meters, some say call disconnected if you ask questions, some say messages received like from aliens...? I don t know but would like to bar these calls. Going for 5 as not sure what it really is!
