Allegedly bt a recorded message that my internet connection would be cut from today unless I dialled a certain number.

Upon answering a call on the land line around 18:30 this evening, the caller hung up so out of curiosity I dialled 1471 (UK), the call back service and I pressed 3 on my phone to be put directly through to the missed call number. I didn t catch the receivers company name but heard a American or maybe Canadian Man s accent and instructions for extension required. I hung up but thought to call 1471 again and noted down the number being, 0203-4574180 and dialled it to ascertain exactly who had called in case i

He is a scammer, a fraud. He used someone else s passport to rent a room, took 600GBP as security and ran away.

I found Select Energy Group who randomly called to be very polite, above all his electric prices were the cheapest I found. Would recommend. Mike.

This no. originates from a company called Vintels (http://www.vintels.com/). They already has a complaint upheld by the ASA against them (Google Vintels and ASA) for sending out SMSs saying "Free Msg: Our records indicate you may be entitled to ?3750 for the accident you had. To apply free reply CLAIM to this message. To opt out text STOP". Vintels however keep changing the wording slightly to get round this.
