SCAM / SPAM - Automated voice message. Claim to be from HMRC and that there is a warrant out for your arrest. Press 1 to speak to your case worker.
Fraud They claim to be HMRC and you will be prosecuted if you don't return the call. The language gets quite amateurish towards the end of the message. It is obviously a fraud as I have a self-assessment online account with HMRC and any messages they want to send me are processed through that account. Not sure what the scam is but just ignore it.
Recorded message purporting to be from BT advising my IPN address had been compromised by a foreign country. I hung up!

I too received a call at a funeral at 1020 this morning about so-called PPI, when asked how they got a ex directory number, they were reluctant to answer their source. I informed them a complaint will be submitted for their harrassment, I have also sent a letter to the BBC Panorama. programme who are investigating companies under various names. I found it strange as I don’t know this number so I put the phone down because it was a scam when I checked the number out it came from Russia
SCAM. On 26.04.21 I received a text from +447585759635 claiming to be a HSBC Fraud Alert and that I had made a payment of £240 to Mr C Jones with a clickable link to confirm my details. I dont bank with HSBC, I never have! I didnt click on this link.
