However they shouldn't be using my number in the first pace as it's protected by the Telephone Preference Service. Hung up when I said I wasn't the person they were after - so rude and annoying. Possible spam or scam call. Caller mumbled something about BT openreach and tried to have a conversation with me. When I enquired what the call was about, he replied that he "just wanted to talk to me"....???? And then hung up.
SCAM, just got a call from this mobile number claiming it was the HRMC calling - automated of course, saying that a fraudulent claim had been put against my name and I have to press 1 to get connected as other wise I will be arrested shortly! Sick these people! I put the phone down and then rang that number back, and of course no reply!

SCAM. Claimed to be from Sky, checking Broadband speed but then wanted me to log onto a website (nothing to do with Sky) and input personal info. Couldn't tell me my name, address, or any info to confirm that they were genuine, except for a Sky account number which was wrong. When I challenged the operator they started off defensive and then became aggressive and abusive.
