This number appeared on my "missed call" list and I tried it but no service. Shortly after a man with a foreign accent called asking for me by my full name.I asked why he wanted to speak with me and eventually he gave me a convoluted spiel which was obviously a scam. I told him to stop fishing for information and put the phone down.

In looking up this number and reading the above info - I now realise its a dodgy number - its somehow hacked into my voicemail wanting me to enter a pincode to verify my voicemail( something I ve never ever done)This is noting to do with my present phone company - which was what I was looking to verify. Answered call from a lady called Moira calling from some legal firm. She said she could help me with my outstanding debt? I said I didn't have any outstanding debt and she politely said sorry to bother you and hung up. Polite but annoying when you are waiting on a call from this area code!!

Fraud This is a scam artist who will try to persuade you, via Whats App, that they are a son/daughter who has dropped their phone in water and that this is their new number....and that they can't access online banking for 24 hours and need to make an urgent payment and they will pay you back tomorrow.
