SCAM says calling from Amazon regarding spending £399 - if this was not you....etc.
unsolicited call, his one and only answer to the simple question "how did you get my number" was "you pressed 5". I m glad I wasted that idiots time for over 5 minutes, he won t try again.

SCAM. Insurance claim related scam. Claiming to be on behalf of Aviva. Rang from a similar number that I had blocked previously. Rang on Christmas Day on a special number that I have that noone knows about outside a small circle of family members (hence my answering thinking it was a Scottish family member - Glasgow number), so they must be getting number to call from EE direct as they asked for me by name. this was a call from Elite Direct in rainham Essex It was there UK Mail Order Service. They were not cold callers they phoned regaridng a order.
Fraud rang me three times on different numbers telling me someone was trying to withdraw £900 on my debit card and could I press no 1 on my number pad !!
SPAM this and 11 other land line numbers from this area have called my mobile over the last 2 months. Many have called multiple times, I've lost count. Fed up with them. Previous callers have been from so called Double glazing, green energy and investment companies. The last few were from FX MORGAN CAPITAL who also call from a plethora of mobile numbers- too many to list. The FCA and my bank, after an investigation with fraud squad, have said its a scam company. Please do not do any business with this

They just called me pretending to be from motability insurance asking about recent accident with my motability car. My car hasn’t been in an accident but is currently in for repair at the dealership following an RAC call out when my battery was flat and the car wouldn’t start. I don’t know how these scammers got my unlisted mobile number or even knew I have a motability car (which has a private plate on it). Someone has given them my personal information. Guy hung up when I was in mid sentence.
