Number 02071124802 phoned me and said they was from start up loans. www.startuploans.co.uk and wanted me to transfer them £58 for the loan to be secured under the insurance. They provided me with a person called Jamin bank details which straight away is strange for a company. I was told it was the managers details as money transferred to the company always bounces back. Called claiming to be Curry’s Pc World acting on behalf of network providers giving customers better deals. Phoned Curry’s to check legitimacy and they informed me this is definitely a scam as they don’t even have an outbound sales call team anymore and don’t act under the Currys Pc World name anymore, just ‘Curry’s’.
this number charged me a fortune for the call and have no idea who i was ringing - £13.50 for 30 minutes.
Silent call Mobile number rang my phone so I picked up. As soon as I said hello they put the phone down. Searched on here to find it is highly suspicious. Number now blocked.

Fraud : An automated message claiming to be from HMRC and claiming to be initiating legal action against me. An Indian accented call centre worker then asked how she could help me and I spoke briefly before she told me to shut up 3 times and ended the call.

This number called my mobile then disconnected after 2 rings. I called it back and an automated voice in an irritating American accent said "Hi. Thanks for calling. Please hold while we connect you". After hearing this for 5 times in quick succession, I hung up and blocked the number. I'm guessing a spam or scam caller.

Claimed to be from Carphone warehouse, not convinced Carphone warehouse would employ a tele-sales person who spoke poor English though. Persisted to try to sell me an iPhone 14 even though I told him from the start I already owned one !!!! If this gentleman really was calling from Leeds and given its an obvious scam then I do worry about his right to be living in the UK.

Looks like a financial scammer. Said I had two payments about to be made from my bank account, one for Amazon for £250 and one an international money transaction for £900. Checked with my bank - no transactions due.

Tone was polite then turned quite aggressive when I said I don’t even have sky (I do just testing them!) said they must help me with my technical issues. Called Sky myself they confirmed no such calls are being made by them. It’s A SCAM!

Said he was my energy representative for my area postcode. I asked who he worked for, and after a pause long enough for it to be clear he wasn't going to answer, he continued with his script. I stopped him and asked again what company he was calling from. He then hung up! Clearly a poorly thought-out scam call!
