Housing disrepair scam I didn't answer them, but I phoned back and instantly Asian woman says my name ,so I decided to play along for a little while, until she asked me for personal details so I gave her the address of my local police station

Have done my research and investigated and found out it's something to do with a Crypto currency scam!!! I have never got involved in crypto currency and unsure how they had access to my number. This is a scam. They phoned me on my (not a smart) mobile. An automated American voice stated they were from HMRC informing me that I owed money and they were sending the dept collectors around. To discuss this matter further and settle the debt I should press; 1. Problem is, I did my Tax Return in April and don't owe any tax. I've not owed tax for years. This is because I am on Carers Allowance. HMRC do not have my mobile number. SCAM

SCAM - some guy claiming to be from Carphone warehouse and offering me an iPhone. When I asked how he got my number, he hung up immediately

This number is not secure, it is scammers pretending to be from O2, offering a 50% discount off your monthly bill. Tempting, obviously. They say a text will be sent to confirm this, followed by another text with a code to activate the offer. They will then ask you to repeat the code to them BUT doing this will allow them to take control over your account and possibly other info on your phone. Something didn't feel right so when they rang back for the code I didn't answer but googled O2 scams. Beware.

SCAM Mobile phone spam / scam / fraud. Scammers pretend to call from Currys Mobile department. They will sign you up on a completely different deal than agreed initially with the most expensive phone available. They use several phone numbers some of them on Whatsapp. Also will e-mail an order confirmation from an address that seems genuine. It's not. After receiving the parcel they will try to convince you to send the phone back to some shady residential address. Avoid!

Answered call automated voice said my amazon account will be renewed soon and to press I to speak with them to discuss. My account is not due August. Rang number back on landline informed this line does not exist. Must be a scam. Also received two more call from 07764899258 & 07764892635 again with same message.
