Two calls today, both with Asian sounding operators claiming to be from BT. They are not. Don't give these scammers anything, not even the time of day. OFCOM, are you listening? You need to do something about these cold callers. They have obviously found a way to use a geographic number which are not automatically blocked by most cold call prevention measures.

SCAM. I've just switched phone contracts around a month ago and these clowns called me up offering a 'super deal' on an iPhone with free data, calls and messaging for £40. Very strong indian accents, I repeatedly asked them who they were and who they thought I was. I was passed to a 'supervisior' who couldn't tell me who I was. A genuinec call should ask if they are speaking with the account owner. When i called them out for being scammers they got a bit short. They eventually rang off. AVOID

Some female called Alee Gella from Microsoft UK office in Reading called this afternoon and advised me that there was a problem with my computer, which is quite amazing as there is no computer in the house they called! I asked for her contact number and she advised me that it was 888dca60fc0a11c. Having managed to stifle my laughing I asked her politely to remove the telephone number from the list and never call the number again as she was breaching DGPR and that I was aware that the call was a scam. Yes. I had a WhatsApp message on my mobile at 7:26pm on 13/4/18 saying call them within 24 hours or my number gets transferred per "my request" to another device. As I didn't notice this message until just now (9pm on 13/4/18) when I got an incoming call just fine, it was a bit of a clue to look up the number indicated before dialling it! Ignore and/or report to your mobile provider or other anti-scammer service.
