a lady with a very fast speaking strong Indian accent called supposedly offering help to recover a supposed charge against a supposed Amazon account!!!!!???? I am going to assume a scam
Recording re tax fraud. I hung up and blocked the number.
Fraudulent. I found him.in Google, and he done me a reservation for a flight tickets. When I asked for his company house to make sure that I am paying an active company I found out that the company is desolved on beginning on 2019. The company made the reservation based on LA, USA. He was suspicious because the ticket was much cheaper than market price.

Calls to our (call screened, not on BT) number from 0800 044 5265. No message left, multiple attempts on multiple days. Calling that 0800 number says they are Stellar a partner of BT, and to call BT on 0800 028 2272. Don t bother if you aren t on BT. They ll tell you "you aren t on BT, we have no record of you!". This phone number has been an issue with my house phone. This number has appeared on my VM bill for the moths of Oct, Nov,Dec,Jan ,Feb and March before I realised I had not made the call. It appears every 12 hours as a call that lasts less than 1 minute and each call is charged at 39 pence . Does not sound a lot until you add it up over the period of time which then accounts for over £60.00.
