SCAM. Claimed to be from Sky, checking Broadband speed but then wanted me to log onto a website (nothing to do with Sky) and input personal info. Couldn't tell me my name, address, or any info to confirm that they were genuine, except for a Sky account number which was wrong. When I challenged the operator they started off defensive and then became aggressive and abusive.
This is a sales marketing company if you try to call them back all you get is a recorded message saying your call is very important to usplease hold the line ect ect nobody ever...
SCAM - Person claimed they were from UK Insurance Department / Black Horse Finance. Had my name & first line of my address (somewhat disturbingly) and wanted me to verify further information for a PPI refund, even though I had never claimed for a PPI refund. They wouldn't give me a number to call and when I said this couldn't be correct, the date for claiming for PPI has long gone and companies aren't ringing people out of the blue years when they haven't claimed, he hung up.

I received a call this afternoon from David from London Police Station informing me that fraudulent transcations are taking place in my account (approx. ?3100) and it would be best for me to relocate my funds into safe keepings. Have previously had the microsoft scam, trying to get remote access to my pc - unfortunately even the police were not concerned about this really. Now Im getting them saying they are from "Peoples Albanian" saying they are calling me regarding the survey I took part in ( I did not) on behalf of UK companies. I get up to 5 calls per day, I really wish this would stop its a total nightmare, absolutely fed up with it bee going on for a long time now!
