SCAM Mobile phone upgrade scam be aware
Fraud a pre recorded message claimed to be from Amazon said they had took payment £ 79 for Prime subscription and to press a number if any queries etc. Amazon do not have my landline and I am not subscribed to annual arrangement.
Another firm selling Green energy wanting to know if I can benefit from Government funding. Told them I was on TPS
very aggressive and rude when person they wanted to speak to unavailable. Said they had spoken to him before (untrue). Young adult at home at the time answered phone and was asked for detailed information about person they wanted to speak to. Fortunately another adult nearby took over call. Upsetting and intrusive.

Person on the phone told him he was calling from HMRC, quoted some references that sounded legit, including the details of an arrest warrant because of unpaid taxes... Does relate to an account setup. It s a company relates to crypto and it s a courtesy call. Caller is actually in Cyprus not London Dodgy number but thanks BT for allowing such things legal but misleading. Call genuine.

I rang them back and ascertained from them that they had bought a quantity of telephone numbers from various sources and their computer was ringing them trying to get a positive response to their FREE BOILER initiatave. They are based in Macklesfield SK10 1AF
I answered the call as i had been getting many of them from very similar but different numbers and when i picked up i waited for a answer and said hello? but then my caller hung up but i did not respond back. I had another a while before from a girl who asked if i was a person i cant remember the name of and that if i had a car crash accident i said no you have the wrong number and she hung up.

SCAM I received the following text from this number: BLOCKCHAIN EXCHANGE: An unusual login attempt has been detected on 24/03/2021. If you DO NOT recognise this, please visit https://blockchain.idauth.exchange This is clearly a scam/ploy, as I have no association whatsoever with 'Blockchain Exchange' and never even heard of it before now.
