I was asked to call 07780439611 regarding my bank details. Very suspicious I did not return the call. Banks don t use mobile numbers do they?
robot voice claiming to be from Amazon. Request to press 1 to proceed. Let the call hold until it dropped the call 4 minutes later. ASSUME pressing 1 then gives a large bill.

Recorded message stating it was from Amazon telling me my iPhone 7 (yes 7) was being shipped and to press 1 for further information. Got an Asian woman thanking me for calling Amazon with my query, I strung her along for a while before disconnecting, Dangerous.

Have previously had about three missed calls from this number - just picked up the latest call and they informed me that I d had a car accident at some point since July 2010 - I have never had a car accident, thank goodness. A recorded voice said something about £200 and to press ...and they would....if no response from me. It had been marked as suspicious. I ignored it.
Following up a comment that this number might be Friends of the Earth, I emailed FoE and was told the number is a fund-raising agency called Listen, used by FoE. At my request FoE has deleted my number. I suggest that anyone who keeps getting calls from this number also contacts FoE via the Contact Us form on the website, to ask for their phone details to be removed so no more calls are received.
