I rang their number & a prerecorded greeting to enquire if I already had insurance, did I want to buy insurance or to wait & speak with an operator - I did not want nor intend to research the number any further but would suggest the number is a legitimate buisness making cold calls from Facebook Users who had clicked on an insurance advert and is probably of neutral impact & not any real risk if you do not pass any details in
Think it’s a scammer on FB, has hacked into an account on there and pretending to be a widower living in Bedford. The phone is being used in the Preston area. I have blocked before he tries to extract money from me. He will not send current face photo with today’s date in his hand so I know it is a scammer. The FB profile hacked looks very American not Uk. Scam, they are calling using numbers from Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Bristol and using Mobiles. If you call them out on it they instantly hang up. I've had the same man on the phone 8 times now using different numbers.
