A Asian guy called saying I have been awarded a 30% discount for being a loyal customer O2 customer. i Left O2 over a couple of years ago, so I checked the number out online while he was talking and the number was listed as a scam call, so knew it was a scam. Just after receiving 01225 809616 (no response, no speech), which I picked up because it was a local number to us. This number called - listed as International 0037283087478. I let the call go to answer machine where it shut off after 3 secs. So, was the 1st number a spoof call to capture numbers of people who picked up? Which the 2nd number then used?
