Claimed to be from some charity representing Noah’s Ark charity. Started going through the script about Covid, strange times, struggling for funds etc. Before he got the point where he asked me for a donation, I told him that If I wanted to donate to a charity of my choice, I would do it myself. I would not be doing it over the phone to a complete stranger claiming to from a charity. Probably a scam.

They called saying they were doning government survey etc , I told them I didn t want to know and also said we were registered with TPS. I eventually put phone down on them.

Just received a call from this number on my mobile. I answered and said "Hello?" whereupon the call was immediately disconnected. I don't recognise the number, but suspect some sort of scam or nefarious activity. Although the criminals mainly target my landline, some of them seem to have my mobile number.

Waste of time survey call that failed to announce themselves in a way to recall the name, failed to provide their privacy information and rang off when details were asked. They were chasing for the RNIB/VIRGIN MEDIA and SCOTTISH POWER. If these people use this service I will not want any business with them.

The directors of the company making the calls are: Paul Lord (home address: 46a Nowell Road, Middleton, Manchester, M24 6FL) and Richard Cooper (home address: 6 Reed Close, Farnworth, Bolton, BL4 7EF). Spoke to my father, said she was from a company that blocks his nuisance calls. He has no such service? (Is there even one other than BT called protect?) I suspect she was a scammer as we have had similar spiels from callers in the past one of which was desperately trying to get Dad to "confirm" his bank details.
