People pls did someone answer this number? I had few missed calls from this one, probably some call centre robocaller testing my number? I don't answer unknown numbers and they left no message. I was trying to dig some info on the internet, don't want to call them back until I know who might be calling but no luck. Some idea who is it?

Actually sounded very plausible. Knew my name and address. Said that my washing machine cover had run out. Couldn't remember when I bought it but didn't think that it was over a year and thought I had 5 year manu's warranty (checked afterwards & correct on both counts). Company was APS or something. This number just called me and knew my mobile number and email address. They asked if I had authorised 7 more computers on my home network. I said I had not and the person on the line said it would be okay but we must act quickly and run through some network checks. When I said I was on an Apple device (Macbook) he immediately hung up as these devices are less vulnerable. I recommend you immediately mention you have an apple device as any legitimate company would not terminate a call based on this inform
