Scammer. Tried to tell me I was involved in a criminal case involving tax fraud.
Someone claiming to be from BT saying my internet had been compromised. They knew my name and address. When I accused them of being a criminal they replied "Of course I'm not, you idiot". Any doubts I had about their authenticity vanished at that point!

Only wanted to speak to owner of business. When asked about his company he gave the company name. When I asked what they did he spoke to me as if I was stupid and said "we finance Companies". When I said we were ok thanks he sneered as me and said "yeh right", so I said goodbye and hung up. Whatever they are trying to sell they will get no customers with that attitude. Do not answer unless you want to be spoken down to.
Been getting calls and messages day, night and bank holidays from two numbers and not sure why. I do not answer, but when they leave a message they do not explain who they actually are, nor what it is about. The other number is 01482 618100, which I assume is related to 01482 483281. Don t fall into their traps...

Fraud - Robo message saying "This is 'bank' security, we have detected an unuthorised transfer..." Its a definate scam! What bank? If a transfer was "Unauthorised", then it should have been declined by the issuing bank, if not, the 'bank' would be liable! FraudFemale recorded voice with American accent (very amateurish) saying they were HMRC and that I had been reported for tax evasion. The case has been reported to the police and would be brought before a magistrate. "Press 1 to speak to a HMRC agent", Obviously I didn't. Caller advised they were from "Chase Alexander" - asked for me by name - regarding RTC. I asked when was the RTC (last one I had was 2011), they replied in the last 2 years. Told them the last RTC was before that. They asked if they had their records mixed up with someone else at my address. I asked what address they had for me and they hung up.
