Phoned said my name then said its your bank we need to veryfi unusual activity on your bank account, give me your full name, address date of birth. I said NO, he insisted and I said NO, you have phoned me I don't know who you are he then hung up. I contacted my bank immediately and it was not one of their phone numbers.

They didn’t even know my name and I’ve been with them for 20 years….jokes, but they did say they can confirm if I give them my email address….I don’t think so pal, they must of thought I was born yesterday, and I clearly stated to them I think your lying and prove yourself. O2 scam, some Indian bloke pretending to be O2 and making an offer ie mine was 40% off my bill (which I didn't believe and put phone down then 2 minutes later I get 2 messages from O2 the first warning about scams the second giving a code to access my account)

He wanted me to switch on computers and check broadband speed etc. Of course I did not comply and hung up. I contacted my provider for landline and computer broadband and they are convinced that this is a “Scam"
