Unsolicited phonecall to my ex-directory, TPS registered landline, introducing himself as 'from the Amazon verification department'. Googled the number, it belongs to a fans & spares company in Dagenham.

'Paul' tells me their website is at theadvisors.co.uk - visiting that results in a rather empty webpage from the domain owner trying to sell the domain for £800. No proper website in place! SCAM - some paki pretending to be from your internet company saying error messages. I always say I've a fault that means my router gets disconnected when someone's calling but string the scumbags along as long as I can.

I received a call from this number today with a message that my master card had been used abroad for a £600 purchase. I was asked to press one to confirm payment. I terminated the call and phoned the number back to be told that the number did not exist. The person was female with a very clear voice and English accent.

a man that sounded as if he came from india or pakistan called me Wednesday 24th February 2016 at 5.40pm while I was in my car in traffic with my 2 kids in the back. Wanted to sell me something. I asked repeatedly who he was, where he got my number and where he was calling from. He hanged up. He immediately called me back and all he said very loudly and aggressively YOU F****** B**CH! and hanged up. I was very upset and the kids were distressed. I called the number back and it immediately want dead.

I have not answered to these people. Not once. Yet, they call at least weekly. I ve got a years line rental with BT paid for up-front, which allows me to block 99% of unwanted calls (with a BT blocker phone purchased separately, in case anyone was wondering). This caller would likely be asking to speak with Mr Strevitt or Mr Gwendoline. As has been the nature of the calls for the past 3 years. very aggressive and rude when person they wanted to speak to unavailable. Said they had spoken to him before (untrue). Young adult at home at the time answered phone and was asked for detailed information about person they wanted to speak to. Fortunately another adult nearby took over call. Upsetting and intrusive.

SCAM Called claims to be from BT and ask you to download Quick Support to test your connection. Once they get the 9 digit ID they can then see your screen They ask you to log into websites, copy the url to 'test' the connection. Luckily my pw auto logs in, so I didn't type it. Be wary as on the BT website it does say they wouldn't ask you to screen share

NEVER call these numbers back. They are spoofed by the scammers and are not calls from the UK. If you call them back, you may get caught for a large call charge.
