just called by this number. A robot call, falsely claiming my (credit card?) account has been charged twice and asking me to call another number. I immediately hung up and checked my account. Oriental lady, very hesitant, claimed to be from Virgin Media about an internet connection. Used a local number to us, but unlikely to be a Virgin Media number. Rang off when told not a Virgin user. If a valid call would have had initial details available
I was trying to activate a phone on my company network and after working with Verizon and the phone started initializing it came up with this phone number which is 1/2 way around the world for Bribane. Verizon still working on figuring it out. Not sure how this phone number was hijacked to a phone number so far away from my location and mysteriously changed numbers. The phone number on the account has been on my account for 25 years now.

A chap from a loft insulation company. Seemed genuine but I had my doubts, he didn't tell me what company he was from. He didn't pressure me into buying anything. Just said my loft insulation was inefficient, I just put the phone down and blocked the number.
