They are working with or on behalf of O2. They are trying to get people who have just applied for a pay and go sim to upgrade to a contract sim. It s a bloody pain in the backside the amount of times they call. You would think that after ringing someone 2 or 3 times without the phone being answered they would give up but No. I answer and make them wait on the line lol

Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. If you answer calls from these numbers you may be charged for Debt Management so buy a BT8500 and stop all of these calls easily. I believe it is someone who called the wrong number. I got a caller on my mobile. I have my number for more than 10 years. I think she misdialled from her phone. She asked for Gemma. I just said there is no Gemma and she got the wrong number. I can't say if this is a trick or not.

Called my mobile yesterday at 11.30am. Didn't answer as don't recognise number. No message left so assume cold call.

I am totally sick of this company ringing my house. Been going on for more than three years now and I am sick of asking them not to keep calling my house. Some times they call up to 6 times a day. They rang yesterday and then hung up before I got to phone. I rang 1471 and I have numerous problems with my arms and hands and pressed 3 by mistake and returned the call. Now I have been charged an extra ?7 pound on my bill for that call. Not happy.

Calls telling me I am entitled to ?1000 pension addition. Requested dial 5 for more information or 9 if already received. I hung up. Obviously a scam.

Usual PPI / car accident / similar sort of claim cold call. Blocked number. These people must be utterly shameless. I couldn t sit at a desk with a headset on being told to get lost (or worse) 100 s of times a day. Still, it s a job I suppose but I d rather be unemployed than lower myself to this sort of thing!
