I got a call from this number today, 06/03/2023, from someone claiming to be from Vodafone, I was offered a 20% discount for the last 12 months of my contract. When they asked for my name and address I ended the call. They had a strong Indian accent. I contacted Vodafone who confirmed is was a fraud.
Fraud The guy who was calling me, wasn`t understand what I had said, wasn`t able to answer my questions as from hi has my details, I`m sure they found it on my website., Had tried to said I`m already registered with them. Automated call. I didn’t speak on picking up My mobile, as I don’t know anyone in London. After about 3 seconds the phone hung up. No voices heard on their end, it just rang off. I’m having these hang ups 1–2 week. I don’t know why, I’ve Not had an accident or made any claims?

cold calling - they pretend to be linked to lots if Life Assurance companies and acting on their behalf. They are not. Was bored and made up some data, they they pass you to someone who tries to sell you a policy. They quote the FCA many times - but when pushed confirm they are not regulated by them. Hang up, or have 5 mins of fun winding them up

On 6th March Monday morning, I got an email from a company called Coinvic about cryptocurrency investment plans. The email also contained a website link and three phone numbers which I was to contact in case I was interested. I reached out to an agent called Marcus Gilliani who explained further how Ethereum will soon blow up. He also guided me on how to navigate my platform which included how to deposit and withdraw. I’d previously heard numerous stories of how people gained millions in this market and so
Fraud told me the £900 had been taken from my visa. On checking my account nothing taken. Bank now has phone details.
